  1. Mean is the average, or the result of adding the numbers and dividing by the quantity.

    Mean: 3 (24 / 8)

    Median is the number that is (for an odd quantity) in the center or (for an even quantity) the average of the two numbers in the center when the numbers are lined up in order.

    Median: 2.5 (1,1,2,2,3,4,5,6... average of two and three: 2.5)

    Mode is the number that occurs most often in a set.

    Mode: 1 and 2 (There are two 1s and two 2s, making them the most frequent number in the set of data)

    Hope this helps. ;)

  2. mean - 3

    median - 2.5

    mode - 1 and 2

  3. 11223456

    i know 3 is the middle one which would mean the average is some where around there too and 2 and one appear the most.

    i know you have to do difference somewhere too

  4. mean, 3

    median, 5.5

    mode, idk

  5. Mean is the average... add them up and divde by how many numbers there are.  (8)

    mode is the number that appears the most often  (1 & 2)

    median is the middle number.   1 1 2 2 3 4 5 6

    the 2 3 are right in the middle so you have to add them and divide by two to find the median.

    2.5

  6. line up the numbers in numerical order

    1,1,2,2,3,4,6

    mean is the average of all of the numbers.Take the sum of all of the numbers and devide it by the amount of numbers you have. The sum of all of the numbers is 19 and you have 7 numbers so 19/7=2.71 thats your mean. the median is the middle of all of the numbers in order.( 2 ) and mode is the most occurring numbers. ( 1 and 2) because they both show 2 times in the number group.

  7. mean- 3

    median- 2.5

    Mode- 1 , 2

  8. do your own homework

  9. Mean: 3

    Median: 2.5

    Mode: 1, 2

    The mean cannot be 4 because to get the mean, you do 2+5+4+3+6+2+1+1= 24/8= 3

  10. how come u dont know that??? this is like 1st grade stuff?!?! i mean didnt ur teacher teach u how to do this???

  11. the mode is 1 and 2

    the median is 2.5

    the mean is 3

    i think....the only one i am not absolutely sure is the median...

    ahh i think it's time for school to start!!

  12. mean = (2+5+4+3+6+2+1+1) / 8 = 3

    median = 1,1,2,2,3,4,5,6 = 2.5

    mode = 1 and 2

  13. Mode (the number with more repetitions): 1

    For the median first put the numbers in order, then the number that is in the middle is the median, if two numbers are in the middle like in this case, the median is the average of the two.

    The mean is the sum of the observations divided by the number of observations. (the average)

  14. You should know them. Learn waht they mean!

  15. mean: 3

    median: 2 & 3

    mode: 1 & 2

  16. Mean = 4

    Median = 2.5

    Mode = 1 and 2.

  17. The mean is an average of all of the numbers. This is done by adding all of the numbers together, and dividing by the total number of numbers.

    The total sum is 24, and there are 8 numbers, so 24/8=3.

    So  the mean is 3.

    The mode is the number that occurs most often. In this set of numbers, we have 2 modes because the numbers "2" and "1" both occur twice.

    The median is found by listing the numbers in order and selecting the number(s) that is in the middle.

    So if you list the numbers in order:

    1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

    Cross off the 1, 6, 1, 5, 2, 4. Then you're left with 2 and 3, so you take the mean of the two, which is: (2+3)/2=2.5

    Mean=3

    Median=2.5

    Mode=1,2

  18. These are your numbers:

    1 1 2 2 3 4 5 6

    Mean (average):

    (1+1+2+2+3+4+5+6)=24/8= 3

    Median (middle number):

    since there are two middle numbers in the sequence you average them

    soo..

    (2+3)/2= 5/2= 2.5

    Mode (most):

    the most here is 1 and 2

  19. 1,1,2,2,3,4,5,6

    Thats the order they should be in.

    The mode is: 1 and a half

    The mean is: 2

    The median is: 5 (6-1)

  20. Mean = 3 ( add all the numbers and divide by the number of numbers)

    Median = 2.5 (put all the number in order highest to lowest and the one in the middle (or the average of the two middle ones) is the median)

    Mode = 1 or 2 (The value that occurs most frequently)

  21. Mean = average

    Median = put the numbers in order from least to greatest, and find the middle number. If there are two numbers, add them together and divide by 2.

    Mode = the number(s) that occur most.

    Mean = 3, because the sum of the numbers is 24, and there are 8 numbers. So 24/8 = 3

    Median = 2.5

    Mode = 1 and 2

  22. mean- 4

    mode-1 & 2

    median- 3
