WHAT IS THE POINT OF TAKING THESE REGENTS iF WE DONT NEED MOST OF THEM TO GRADUATE?

AND YEAH I KNO IF U PASS ALL OF EM U GET AN "ADVANCED" REGENTS DIPLOMA..BUT HONESTLY WHO CARES? COLLEGES DON'T LOOK

  1. They're voluntary. Don't take them if you don't want to.


  2. A good number of them look at those extra Regents. Besides, if you're taking more Regents, that usually means you're taking some extra courses, and colleges love that. Is there really an issue with taking a Math B, Physics, or foreign language Regents? Honestly...

  3. Would you rather do the bare minimum or make a statement saying "I want to do the best that I can, be the best that I can, and make the most out of school?"
