WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH TEEN AGED PEDOPHILES? ?

Question

What do you feel should be done with teen aged pedophiles? Should they be treated like adult pedophiles? How does society View pedophiles and what would you do if your child or loved one was assaulted?

Am asking as part of a human studies class, and would love ample feed back ... feel free to say what you wish and never hold back. :)

I think any male pedophile or rapist should be castrated. Would solve the problem with one simple cut.

Seeing as how that will never happen, life imprisonment or horone therapy making it where they don't won't s*x. I don't believe they "change"  

If they mess up one time they are in prison for life, or death penalty if the crime is bad enough.

Harsher punishments would lower the crime rate, for any crime. They didn't have a lot crime back when they just hung people did they?

EDIT: Since a female can't very well be castrated, Hormone therapy, as I stated before.

As was pointed out by Ricky,consensual s*x between a boy and his just underage girlfriend is very different from a teenage rape of a minor.All of the calls for castration is just thoughtless,emotional ranting that doesn't do any ones argument any good at all.

It is strange that Aman didn't choose to reveal,what should happen to female paedophiles or does she think that they do not exist?

It's flat out wrong to say a teen boy, aged 18, is a s*x offender due to having consensual s*x with his 17 year old g/f.

There is no sense in condemning an 18 y/o to 20 years in prison, or castration, or whatever ghoulish things the fanatics are saying.  

Now, if you're talking about rape, incest, or more than 2-3 year age difference, that would be another issue.

They should be locked away just as the adults should be. Twenty years, is the least time I would give them. Because sometimes the victim never recovers. And no victim ever forgets.

P.S. what I'd really like to do is castrate them
