  1. If you are independantly homeschooled (not public school at home or private on-line school) then rather than try to "catch up" fast, just keep working, don't stop this summer, just keep going, you'll catch up eventually.  Maybe you could add on an extra hour to each day also, then you'll catch up sooner.

If you enrolled in some kind of school apart from home, then all I can suggest is buckling down, working an extra 2 or 3 hours each day and giving up your Saturday or Sunday to catch up on school.

  2. You and your teacher (Mom? Dad?) should set up a schedule, adding a little time every week  to help you catch up.  You need to realize how important this is, especially if you plan to go to school next year.  Maybe you could get a copy of the school's curriculum for your grade to compare...but you probably did that in the first place.

  3. The concepts of "ahead" or "behind" don't mean much if you're homeschooled, unless you're enrolled in an umbrella school or distance learning program that sets deadlines.

If not-- why worry? 5 weeks of work will hardly set your intelligence back in life... keep working on your studies, keep getting educated. No need to worry when a particular assignment was due as long as you do it.

  4. I thought you said you were homeschooling. Sounds to me you are schooling at home which is no different than going to pubic school, maybe worse. Your trip to Disney was probably far more valuable as an educational experience than those 5 weeks of 'school' work. Relax. Catch up to what?! You are always learning & growing. May be time for the parents to chill out & let you learn in peace. Stop competing with the public school & start learning in freedom. My son spent a month in FL last Feb. going to Disney, etc. & he still started college this fall. His only assignment was to have fun in Florida. After we returned he went to Texas for 10 days to celebrate his 16th birthday with other relatives. Again, his only assignment was to have fun. He learned much on both trips.
