  1. RodWrap handle grip is a revolutionary product that wraps over fishing rod handles, giving anglers a non-slip grip with enhanced comfort. Available at most sporting goods and tackle retailers.

  2. just dry it if its wet and but a little stuff that helps mold from preventing and then wrap the rod but if it a old rod like 4 or 5 years old and its molding throw it a way or mont it on a wall or what ever you want to do but if its old buy a new pole good luck.

  3. petroleum jelly

  4. Basically, there's nothing you can put on it without causing the foam to compact more and adding scent to your hands. The foam is Deteriorating and nothing can stop that. Your best choice is to have it replaced by a person who knows rod building. It'll cost you about 10 bucks. If you're handy, you can also use bike handle foam and do it yourself. A little fine sand papering later and you can have a custom job for your needs for about 5 bucks. If you're really handy, you can extend the butt section of the rod ( rhino's are known for having a short butt section) to suit your needs during the process. It's all just a suggestion, I own a few myself. ~Good luck catchin'.

  5. Replace the handle, so long as its stored correctly cork should be great EVA foam handles don't rot, but don't feel as good in the had as cork, the choice of which to use is up to you.
