  1. Left Parties are part of India heading the Governments of 3 states. So If a Partner is not accepting then it shud be dropped or the deal can be modified removing objections and signed is the way of Democracy. Not like Show of strengths.

  2. The government will squeak through and thumb its nose at the Left parties. You can take it for granted that the Congress will arrive at a settlement with Mayawati to bury the assets case against her for her party's votes in favor of the Confidence Motion.Oh!yes, the Left will

quietly but surely extend its support again all

for the ostensible purpose of keeping the BJP away from winning the General Election which it is sure to do if the government falls.

  3. It will definitely fall and elections will be held.

  4. Am sure Congress, by 22nd would be able to muster up the required support for the majority, this situation has mainly cropped up owing to its highly publicised "make - break" nuclear deal with the U.S.

It has now changed its stance from being defencive to aggressive in the promotion of the deal and to get through with it as now not only is its own prestige at stake(cos if it doesn't get Thtough this one, it would be ridiculed about and made the butt of all jokes) but more than that it now realises how badly our power hungry nation needs it and the world needs it(owing to the global warming stuff).

It has started publicising about the deal and the advantages related to the deal to create awareness among the public..which i feel is a good step..the only mistake they did is that they went all too fast about it at the G8 Summit and should have developed a consensus 1st with its supporters, especially the Leftists, who have now turned against the deal.

We can just hope that all the politics is set aside for once and the benefit of the country is sought...however the vote bank of "others" still holds the key for the D-Day(22nd July)

  5. Nothing to worry about this. UPA Govt will come out with flying colour as wish of majority  of Indian population can not be dishonoured and go waste.

  6. WIN WIN situation for Congress(UPA) !

Anti-national left parties should be taught a lesson !

  7. it is wonder this funny govt lasted all these years.  The fate of coalition govts will never been in steady.  if one supports, and another will threaten withdrawing support.  Anyway, it is a knife hanging on the head of UPA govt.  But, we indians are very clever in purchasing good horses.  we can get good horses in horse-trading and will try our level  best to escape from the disaster.

sorry ...it is not a congress govt.  it is colition govt headed by congress party.

  8. Need not worry, they are safe.
