Apparently Ara Abraham was so angry at an official and got in there face an yelled at them because he didn't win so when he got the medal he threw it on the ground and said bronze is c**p and he wants gold or nothing

What do you think about this is this right? he seem like a total jerk an should be banned from the olympics he totally disrespected china's medal that was given to him and he acted like a little baby throwing on the ground

  1. When things get Olympic serious, it's hard to remember that it's all just a silly game.

This behavior does not deserve a ban, but it was a bit childish.  Everyone who has been in sports can look back at moments when they weren't very kind to the officials or their opponents.  This is part of why sport is so valuable--you get put in artificial situations where you can see how you act under pressure, and can hopefully fix your failures before the personality flaws they reveal affect real life.

Hey, if he really thought he was robbed, I can understand the reaction.  He shouldn't have gone about it the way he did (he should have whined about it to the press or said something stoic like "that's how the ref saw it"), but hey--

It's the biggest day of your life, an emotional time you've spent thousands of hours preparing for and have poured your whole self into, you are trying to show the entire world how good you are, and some ref can't get the call right--you've never been in any situation remotely like that, so please don't be so judgmental.

  2. wow hes mature. shouldn't he be setting a good example to all the kids out there? yes he should be. its no ones fault except his that he didn't get gold. maybe he didn't try hard enough and I'm sure hes just trying to make an excuse as to way he didn't win gold. so immature. im sure the person that finished 4th would gladly take that medal.

  3. if he felt that he was robbed, then that is a way to show it. I have not seen the match so I can not say

  4. i have not herd about this till now , i must have missed this

anyway if it did happen as you say , i think its disgusting behavior and a complete disgrace and letdown to his country and HIMSELF what a childish a** hole and he dosent deserve a medal or his tallent he clearly has to achieve an olympic medal

  5. It's like a little kid settling for pistachio instead of chocolate.

So Immature. Sort of a sore loser.

He could of gotten Silver though But I would settle for Bronze. Some people don't even get a medal.

  6. well he had fun at the olympics at least, as seen here

  7. he should have protested by not wrestling for the bronze in the first place

  8. Agreed! Pathetic behavour from a grown man... 2 year olds might get away with something like that in kindergarten, but in the Olympics... Not acceptable if you ask me! They should take the medal from him and give it to runner up, number 4. I am sure he would be happy to take it!

People who act like that put a huge damper on the good atmosphere!
