  1. The trick that i lean to build credit was  borrow funds to hold them on deposit, make some interest payments at like 5% then give back the deposited money.its not your money so you cant spend it.After three months I was on a few bureaus

  2. Pretty much any bank will do the trick. It has little to do with the card company and everything to do with how you use your card. If you don't qualify as a regular applicant try a secured card ) ie Capital One Mastercard.

Some banks have introductory offers just for students. )ie ...low interest payments, rewards, etc...

Just look around and ask at your current bank.

  3. There really isn't a good or bad credit card out there. People might get confused with customer service rather than what interest rates are or transfer fees. The best way to go is to apply for any credit card that will accept you. Even if it is only a $250 limit. Use it to pay for gas or small things and pay the whole bill off every month. It does not matter what the rate or fees are, because if you pay the whole bill on time they cannot charge you any interest or fees. Try to find one that gets you a reward like airline miles or cash back or both. This way you are building your credit while earning some freebies.

  4. Stay away from Capital One.  Other than that, any card will be ok, but try to get one with a lower balance at first.
