wow i just found out that gas prices are going DOWN! its been 20 cents it dropped! it was $4.22 now its $4.12 wow i cant believe it YAY! any reasons why its goin down?

the federal government found out that they cant charge us anymore and the roads cant be fixed with the tax on gas so they dropped the prices.

Market forces.  If the gas is too expensive, not that many people will buy the gas. So it goes down.

The oil speculators (wall street) over drove the price up.  Now that people are cutting back on driving, the prices are dropping (a little).

But this is only temporary.  Come fall / winter the price will rise again (because of gasoline being diverted to home heating oil).
