WHATS THE BEST WAY TO STUDY FOR A TEST?

Read the material repeatedly to prepare yourself. Emphasize strong points. Have a friend or loved on quiz you on the material. Sometimes if you read in a relaxed state, such as before bed, your retention level will be greater. You may end up thinking about it in your twilight moments just before sleep.  Worked for me all through school.

Cramming may work, but is not effective in the long run.

Here is what I do for every test -

I read the material

I right down the material.

Then I say the material aloud 5 times.

Then I right it again and say it at the same time.

Its basically a memorization technique. Its best to understand the material first though , and then memorize. :) This works out wonders for multiple choice tests, social studies exams, or vocab and spelling tests.
