Is this a stupid thing to say to a proffesser of mine.

"Ive had a really good semester with you and I'm really glad that you were my teacher. I learned a lot and your make everything fun!:

i feel like i shouldnt say anything

but he was so nice to me...he helped me out SO much this semester!

so..what you think??

  1. No, I don't think it is stupid.  Any teacher would like to hear that.  If it's hard to say, you could write it.


  2. Tell Him how You feel & THANK Him. Even Professors like to be Appreciated...  :)

  3. I agree, tell him.  Teaching is often an incredibly thankless job, so teachers and profs really appreciate it when a student takes the time to say "thanks".

  4. I think you should wait until grades have come out. Then send him a little card to his office or slip it under his office door. That way you are letting him know how much you appreciated his work and yet there will be no possibility of looking like you're trying to get a better grade or anything like that.

    But you should definitely let him know he was appreciated - teachers are not thanked enough and yet most of them put in so much time and effort into their classes.

  5. You should tell them. Teachers need to feel appreciated.
