  1. It's very bad, you could go to jail for that.  Sorry but you are in deep doodoo  and most companies do a back ground check and thay also ask you if you have ever ben in trouble with the law. If you lie  you get fired  or you don't get the job.

Get that ticket paid for ASAP

  2. Wow...that depends a LOT on the job itself.  If its a job dealing with money they will look at financial records, credit score, etc.  If it is a security job they'll look at any arrests or legal violations.  If it involves national security they look at everything up to 10 years back including drug and alcohol use.  Best to ask and come clean before they find it.

  3. Employers generally look for criminal history, driving history, employment and educational history and sometimes your credit history.  Generally, the FTA will be discovered if the background screening company conducts a motor vehicle report.  FTA's generally do not appear in criminal court and would be most likely missed if an MVR is not conducted.  I would still attempt to get that taken care of.  In terms of the DUS, the same holds true.

  4. your credit score.

  5. What they look for in background checks, depends on what the company and the job, is all about. If you are applying for a position that involves handling money, they want to know that you don't have an embezzlement charge floating around in you background. Similarly, if you are applying to be a truck driver, they don't want someone with a record of DUIs or other moving vehicle offenses. So there's no answer to your question unless you can be a little more specific.

  6. It depends on what kind of employer is doing the background check. In short a company is going to check for anything negative on your record that could put there company or business at risk. If you are applying for a teller at a bank they are going to be the most concerned with your credit score, or if you have any kind of recored of theft, if at a day care they are going to look for any kind of abuse, and etc
