How does it become silky and shiny?

I need to know before school starts!

I have the CHI, which is a really good straightener.

  1. well if you just get out of the shower and straighten it with no product thats what happens lol

um buy a smoothing leave and conditioner and a shine serum you can easily get both of these at your local drug store i like these ones

use this once a week works really well

and the gania fruitis leave in conditioner i cant find it lol

  2. Use a shine serum and hairspray.

  3. u should try putten some type of oil before you straghten it. the heat might be taken away the silky & shiny..i use this oil called hair polish..works wonders

  4. when your hair is damp use Chi Silk Infusion.

  5. The chi is actually really bad for your hair so i wouldnt suggest using especially if u dont want to look bad at school the chi will ruin your hair dry it out and make it dead and lifeless so if your gonna straigten your hair all the time plus with the chi i would just get it done perminantly and save time and trouble  but if your hair is already in bad shape i would stop while im ahead or else your gonna have to shop off all your hair

  6. be sure to use some sort of serum or heat guard, something that will keep the direct heat off of your hair...the direct heat can cause breakage after long term use, i know that chi makes a heat guard, I use Biosilk only takes a very tiny bit and makes my hair silky smooth and smelling great!! Many brands at the supermarket make heat guards and shine drops, just shop around for some of the salon grade products expect to spend more money like around $15 to $20 for a small amount of product, the products usually go a very long way though, i know that biosilk does and omg does it smell wonderful!!!

  7. Straightening hair really dries it out and everything. You need to get a special hair-striaghtening product that makes sure that your hair does not get heat-damaged. And this is just step number one.

Number two: get a hair mask. It's a deep conditioning product that helps bring moisture into the hair.

Number three: If you don't have naturally silky hair, *a lot* of work has to be done to get it looking silky. Most of the time it doesn't work (soo depressing...I know :(...), but if you can afford it, go to a hair salon and ask some advice.

Number four: Don't wash your hair every day. It washes out all that moisture going to your hair ends, and with that gone your hair does not have a chance. At all. Ever.

Hope something there helped. Alternatively, you could just get some hairstyles to suit coarse hair.

  8. k this proudut will make it shine and protcect it from getting dameged it really good hope this helped

  9. Use Biosilk Hair Therapy, it works reallly good, but kind of pricy. You just lather it in your hands then glide your fingers through your hair. It makes it shiny and smooth and really soft.

But you can also try some shine mist after your done straghtening.

  10. Use Biosilk! But buy the generic brand at Sally's Beauty Supply its half the price but the same ingredients. And put it on before straightening
