I would advise that if you didnt want alot of little kids on the cruise, to go in early May. I went to puerto rico early may and the ship was so quiet and relaxing and puerto rico was amazing. I took it outta NY since thats where I live and it was gorgeous!

But then  I went to the bahamas the previous year on spring break and it was soo busy everywhere and very loud. Still enjoyable. I dont care what anyone says, theres no way you cant enjoy a cruise

best time to is starting at the end of October. the weather better then, east and west Caribbean and the south part too.

Most of the cruise lines have shipped out of the Caribbean by July. The best times for Caribbean cruises are the months of January, February and March.

"The best time" really depends on what you're wanting in a cruise vacation. Depending on the time of year, you can get some really great deals and get a lot more bang for your buck. I've been seeing a lot of great deals on December cruises, though Christmas-time cruises are in high-demand. Cruises during the summer and around spring break are likely to have a much different "average passenger" than cruises during the school year, which is something to keep in mind if you have kids or are trying to avoid them.
