  1. You can take your motorcycle to and from a pre-arranged MOT without having an MOT certificate in force. It MUST be pre-booked. You would, however require a valid certificate of insurance. Carol Nash can help with that one! Then of course you would have to declare to the tax authorities that you have used the bike for 1 day and see if they decide to demand the road tax. They have the option to waive this requirement.

The advice to trailer it seems the best

  2. There are some insurance companies,  that offer pay-as-you-go scheme, ive seen them online

  3. Using the SE like google or yahoo to get some hints first if you want to obtain the massive information,if you do not want to spend too much time, here is a good resource for your reference about your questions.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  4. oh no you dont.....why not just stick it on a trailer or in a van...to tax it u need insurance/mot,not the other way round.

  5. Quick search found two bike companies that offer short term bike insurance. You'll have to bear in mind price comparisons between 12 months and a few months insurance as you maybe able to buy a 12 months insurance and cancel once you've moted it ect. which could save you money.
