  1. Usually in the exhaust manifold or if not, look down the exhaust pipe near the catalyst.  You  probably have multiple O2 sensors, two for each bank of cylinders.


  2. Should be on or around the exhaust manifold. If not further down the exhaust. You should be able to find them pretty easily since they are wired.

  3. you will have two before the catalytic convertor,and one after the cat if single exhaust.the two before are the closest to the engine.

  4. Just a rule of thumb #1 cyl is on bank #1 and the o2 sensors are located ahead of the cat converter(s) and after the converter(s) Some V-8 dual exhaust cars may have as many as 4 or 5 o2 sensors so make sure you purchase the right one the first time (no refund on electrical parts)
