Experience is your best teacher. Most drivers/crew members will tell you....you need to start at the bottom and work your way up. If you're serious about a driving career and you have enough cash start a late model stock team (or similar lower series) and go to your local short track. There are some driving schools out there and there is also the Richard Petty Driving Exp. at several NASCAR tracks across the country. But if you want a career, the teams want someone who work their way up through the ranks.

but i hear they have changed names, may be la racers now.
