WHERE IS THE STUPID ANTI SPYWARE BUTTON

I UPDATED THE YAHOO TOOLBAR LIKE I WAS TOLD AND NOW MY ANTI SPYWARE BUTTON IS GONE. WHERE IS IT? I AM GETTING SO FRUSTRATED. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is the Yahoo Toolbar installed? In IE or Firefox?

Probably, you have unsuccessfully updated the toolbar. If the toolbar is no longer there, either in IE or Firefox, you have to download it again, and make sure that it is complete installed. Also, try to temporarily disable you installed anti-spyware/anti-virus software while Yahoo Toolbar is being downloaded and installed.

If you tried to download the toolbar direct from Yahoo and it failed, try to download it from another site, such as http://www.download.com/Yahoo-Toolbar-wi... and install it from your downloaded file.

If the toolbar is there, then you can personalized the buttons to shown which features you want the toolbar to show. In the Yahoo Toolbar, click on the small down-arrow at the right of the pencil-icon, choose Toolbar Options then be sure that the Anti-Spy under Buttons has a check-mark on it. If not, then click pencil-icon, then select "Refresh Toolbar".
