  2. Southern America.

  3. hehehe

  4. it erased washed away with high tides ..

  5. Are you serious?

The Latin American area includes Mexico, most of Central America, South America and the Caribbean Islands.

  6. I know where it is.....I live here!

Now.....where the heck is Europe ???????????

  7. Latin American include Central and South America.

Do you u know where´s North America ???

If yes, Central and South America are on the same side of the map below North America.

  8. otakugirl, I love your definition, "Latin America is a region of the Americas where the official or primary language is a Romance language, derived from Latin" Ha ha! I wish this were true, because then Quebec and New Orleans would be considered Latin America too, and Celine Dion would be a latina!

So, your definition is correct, that is where the word comes from, but for some reason French is a Romance language, but is not considered Latin.

Another term I like is "the Garlic Belt" which is what northern Europeans called the southern romantic language part of europe, based on the menus rather than the languages.

  9. I don't want to insult you. Therefore I wont even answer your question.

  10. See the response from otakugirl; I don't think any better explanation can be given.

  11. Good question; you may be able to find it if you travel to Central and South Americas.  A cheaper way to find out is to take a geography class.  Good Luck in your future.

  12. LMAO

  13. Where are you from?

I ask this because I know in some countries they don´t teach a thing about Geography, economics and culture of the rest of the world.

  14. Latin America is a region of the Americas where the official or primary language is a Romance language, derived from Latin. Likewise, Latin America has a distinct culture that is rooted in the interaction of the indigenous people with Spanish and Portugese explorers of the 16th Century.

The Latin American area includes Mexico, most of Central America, South America and the Caribbean Islands. Though scholars disagree on the specific makeup of the area, most agree that Latin America is distinct from the rest of the Americas for its Spanish and Portugese influence. The territories with non-Iberian roots are often not included in the scope of Latin America. Countries such as Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, and Suriname where non-Romance languages prevail, are often mistakenly grouped in with Latin America as, "all regions south of the United States." As such, the geographic component is enhanced by the linguistic characterization of Latin America.
