  1. 1st, the Bright Angel and South Kaibab trails are in the National Park.  They are the 2 main trails to the bottom of the canyon and are 2 of the few kept up by the National Park service.  Go to nps.gov for maps of all major trails in the canyon.

2nd, the Redland Dam is west of Grand Canyon Village on the Havasupai Reservation near Peach Springs.  Here is the Map quest addy for the map of the area http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Peach+... .  The flooding won't effect a trip to the Village or the most often visited parts of the park.

  2. It's located in Arizona

  3. you going there for a trip in the near future? i'm going at the end of the year, and read the news with great interest.

the redland dam is actually in the havasupai indian reservation, so is relatively far away from the bright angel or south kaibab trails. the only problem could arise from excess water in the colorado river, which at present i think is pretty ok.

i still can't wait to go there!

  4. Where is WHAT located? Need more info.
