i want to go to one of these places, but i have heard that they are not as safe as other places, so which is safer?

Madam,  India is the safest place.  you can come here and see our heritages, forts, big and famous temples, arts, cultures, the Taj mahal one of the 7 wonders in the world.  Golden temple at punjab and tamilnadu. There are disturbances all over the world and there will be some minor disturbances and which will never come to your level and you will never meet such disturbances.  There are tourism development corporations in each state.  They will guide and take you to several places.  A best place is india. please come.  we welcome you and see our hospitality.

    I heard the civil war is still on in some parts of Nepal.

    India is a safe destination for tourists , as long as they stay out of the terror hit regions ( J&K and Northeast) ..

  3. Well , I don't understand why people spreading  rumors like that and some people listen that rumors and cancel our plans. Now these days each or every place should be safe. Our Government has try to get more security to our tourist spot.  For my point of view both are the safer places.  

    If you have make some planning to visit there so i would suggest you that you go feel free..
