Detroit= hockeytown= best place ever = better than Memphis.

In all seriousness, I have an uncle that lives near Detroit and there is a lot of crime.  There is also a lot of crime in Memphis.

I would go with Detroit, I have actually gotten lost in the middle of downtown Detroit at like midnight.  It was scarey but I lived.

lots of gangsters and creeps walking around.

They are both holes, but Memphis slightly less so.

You won't freeze your butt off in Memphis and FedEx is almost always hiring in Memphis.

Tennessee. I like the down south accents the people have there. And I heard it's a beautiful place... :P

it depends on what ur goals are? work? rest? how old are you? school, family? detroit is   not doing so well for work at the moment.  with the car  fatorys closing down so memphis maybe  the better chhoose for work?

do u like city life? it al depends on u.  all places are the same one way or another. people jobs social ect they just change a little to suit the needs ur after.

The important thing is. what u make of the place in with you live. cheers.
