  1. Batman is a better character

but Iron Man plays a larger role not just with the Avengers but in the Marvel Universe as a whole

  2. great question im gonna go with ironman because he is a noble man from going from jerk millionare to hero he also builds his own weapons and has so many different and unique suits

Batman is great to but he has one costume but he has the batcave and i think that iron man could take a higher degree of pain and suffering also i think he is smarter than batman but bm is alot more cunning and if it ever came down to 1-1 money is on iron man

  3. Batman's better.  He's smarter and knows all sorts of martial arts! He's got the batmobile, the batplane, the batbike, the batcave and the belt full of gadgets that would take down Ironman

  4. In terms of their intelligence it's close but  I would have to say batman just b/c of his computer systems, cars, and the batcave is amazing.  The roles each of them holds in their teams are both important batman leads the league, formulates strategies, and funds the league.  While Iron man only funds the avengers while captain america leads.  So overall batman is better

  5. In the comic books, their intelligence is comparable.  Bruce Wayne is the sharpest mind on the planet.  He does everything from find cures to viruses to designing all the computer systems, weapons & gadgets in the Batcave, the Batmobile and so on...

He's a master tactician and best hand-to-hand fighter in the world, and the one whose planning and execution makes up for his lack of super abilities.  He directs other team members in combat to maximize their effectiveness and figures out the villians "big picture" long before most others. Batman's role in the JLA is more influential than Iron Man in the Avengers- he's the DC comics equivalent of Captain America in terms of providing in-the-field leadership.

Tony Stark is brilliant in a different way- he's the genius whose designs are far ahead of anyone else.  He builds higher-tech stuff than Batman but he's more specialized.  He isn't the keen analyst of human nature or observer of details, Batman knows when criminals  are lying or when a judo masters foot is slightly out of position.  Tony Stark has no expertise in those areas but could design a laser emitter or force-field generator from scraps.  Iron Man is more likely to help the Avengers escape a trap with some brilliant physics experiment, while Batman would rely on tricking his foes into revealing information in conversation, or dropping their guard.

Bruce Wayne can't necessarily improvise devices of the same complexity and scope as Tony Stark, but's he knows enough to get the job done- he may not understand the whole design, but just enough to disable the guidance system of a runaway missile, or which cables will cut the power to some military robot, based upon his general knowledge of earlier designs.  Iron man on the other hand- he'd know which specific sound frequences will shatter the CMOS chips, or would transmit the shutdown codes for the Stark Industries components inside the robot.

Iron Man is a respected founding member of the Avengers and when Thor isn't around is often their heaviest hitter, but prior to Civil War was more often 2nd-in-command.  His drinking phase and tendency to argue with other members makes him less of a legendary figure to his teammates. Iron Man more vulnerable, many times his teammates have seen him out of power, armor wrecked by ultra-powerful foes or cannibalized to save the team.  Batman is more like Captain America, his teammates haven't seen him lose- he's the one saving their butts more often than not.

  6. iron-man is definitely better cause he built the suit and all the weapons inside of it and batman just has a elastic jumpsuit with a lame car somebody else built so iron-man is all around better.

  7. Batman

  8. Batman is better. He is smarter, he doesn't really build his own gadgets, but his gadgets are better, and Batman definitely has a much bigger role in the Justice Leagues than Iron Man in the avengers.

    its funny!

  10. well, according to the movies, iron man is way smarter than batman. In both of the new batman movies, bruce has a person in wayne industries that he buys his gadgets from. iron man made his suit from scratch including the power source. however i havent rlly seen the batman league or iron man avengers so i cant say anything on who plays a more influential role.

  11. In terms of being smart, Batman is wayyy smarter, he has knowledge of almost anything, Bruce Wayne(batman) is a very smart comic book character, Iron Man on the other hand is a millionare who has scientists build stuff for him(HE DOES NOT MAKE HIS OWN WEAPONS or make anything, people obviously havent readt the iron man comics), hes not smart at all, but his technology(because of his money)is wayy beyond batmans(you cant compare any of batmans little gadgets to Starks Iron Man suit)........and for their teams Iron Man plays a wayy bigger role, his the leader of the Mighty Avengers, and his usually one of the shot callers on any team his on, Batman on the other hand is more a quiet, Solo player, his character  does not mix too good with the whole JLA thing.....

that all being said, i still think Batman is the "better" of the two, and h**l figure out a way to take tin man out

  12. iron man becouse tony stark makes his own wepons and ironman fight and glides.
