Question

I am very well known in international cricket and there are many who respect me however not everyone agrees with my opinions. I made by test debut in 2000 and my ODI debut in 1995 both in the same month and have not yet retired. I have also been in some controversy after being briefly suspended with four others during my career.

Who am I?
