The Cubs.  They have the NL's best offense, best starting rotation and one of the best bullpens.  It's hard to see any NL team competing with them this year.  I think the Cubs are the best the NL has to offer.  It's hard to argue against that with their stats proving my point along with their record (best record in NL all season long).

EDIT:  NL East team, the Mets have been hot lately and while the Phillies have a solid offense, their pitching is not even close to the Mets.  Pitching wins championships and the Phillies just don't have that.
