WHO IS GOING TO CANCUN SUMMER 2009? ANY RECOMMENDATIONS? SUGGESTIONS?

me and my friends are going on holiday to cancun between july 29th and 14th august, what would you guys recommend we do, where are the best places to go and things to do? where all the young people go? BEST CLUBS? etc.

Hiya you will have a fab time. I went to cancun a few years ago and returned In may this year for a 2 week holiday. We stayed in the Riu Cancun which is a great central location and in walking distance from all the bars and clubs. Some of the clubs are very cheesy but if you go for the open bar option you will be to drunk to care and if you are anything like me you will make your own fun and have a ball!

Clubs to visit Coco Bongo - for live shows

Senor Frogs - for wild americans! and DRINKING

Daddy O - for chessy pop music

Bulldog and the City are also meant to be good but didint get round to them. You should be able to go on bar/club crawl organised with ur hotel which is good value and u get to sample a few of the clubs in one night! (be prepared to get very drunk! My boyfriend and I went on one and had a fab time!!!)

There are number of outdoor bars that you can get a deal with a nightclub and drink all nite for example you can pay $45-55  and go to daddy o daddy rock and another bar (cant remember name) and drink in all places! You pay more for entry to bars and clubs friday to sunday -- cheaper week days.

Go on the Captain hook cruise and the Jungle tour and if you can go plus theres loads of others...loads for all to do.

xel-ha and Xcaret are also a must!

And remember to tip leaving $2 - $5 should be fine.  Have fun!
