First, there is no reason to scream.

There were no survivors in the crash, but if you are looking for someone that died in the crash that was not a rock star, then that was the pilot.

The pilot, Roger Peterson.

If you are looking for a rock star that could have died in the crash then that was Waylan Jennings.  He gave up his seat in the plane to "The Big Bopper".

Do you mean Waylon Jennings?  He wasn't on the plane, but he was supposed to be.  J.P. Richardson "The Big Bopper" took his seat on the plane instead.

I don't think anyone survived the crash - Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, The Big Bopper and the plane's pilot all died.

P.S. Caps lock is OK - doesn't anyone realize that you can't "hear" typed capitals any louder?  They're typed words, you can't hear them!  Therefore it's not shouting, just the perception of shouting.  Get a grip.
