WHO WILL WIN? Magpies - Hawks and by how much?

I think Collingwood will win... Not just because I am a Collingwood supporter but we are due for a win. Also if Collingwood can beat Geelong I think we can beat Hawks... It seams we can only beat the good teams.

I'm tipping the hawks by about 10 points because the way they played last week, almost beating the cats compared to the way the pies played, losing by 8 goals to the bombers (go bombers!!!) and in my opinion when the pies beat the cats thec ats were not playing any where near as good as they are now.

two things that may bear on this.

On paper the Hawks look stronger, they have good players in all sizes and categories whereas Collingwood is light on the bigger boys. Hawks have a much better track record re wins also.

But after playing my lads last weekend, when they looked flat and didn't combine as well as they usually do, I would guess that the maggies will be stung into throwing a lot more into the ring against the Hawks, and it will be a close one.

If I have to choose, I would say the Hawks by about 14 points.

I hate this game.

I'm a Hawks supporter and given our season so far I would say Hawks will win by about 4 goals.

However, Collingwood seem to be able to beat the teams above them and not the ones below them.

On form it's Hawthorn to win, but the last 2 weeks has thrown up so many surprises that anything could happen.

I'm tipping Hawthorn.

Both can win! and it could also be a draw, however both will be stung by recent losses, which will no doubt add extra 'spice' to the contest.     The Pies always seem to be UP for the big games and down when they should win the lesser ones.    The recent bagging of Malthouse and his team, could spell trouble for the Hawks, and especially if Fraser is fit to return.   Hawthorn however are in the top 3 for good reason, having had a great year, which equates to the game possibly being, one of the best "blocbusters" of the season !   Its really hard to pick, but maybe the Hawks because of their position (top 3) and having won the previous contest this season .
