  1. The pilot is ultimately responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft.  Neither is 'better' as such.  Each has their own function.  I think being a pilot is more fun, but I am biased, because I am one.

  2. Us pilots'r better'n anybody. Pfft.

  3. LISTEN MAN....LETS DO SOME  math

NO aeronautical engineer = NO (aircrafts+jets+rockets+space tech...)= NO pilots

so i think the engineer is the top of any thing

    PEAK OF THE PEAK

  4. "Better" is not a very helpful way to look at it.  The two career fields involve very different aptitudes, talents, and outlooks, and they have completely different kinds of experiences and responsibilities.

The aeronautical engineer makes considerably more money in the course of a lifetime than a pilot makes.

Some things about being a pilot are lots of fun.  So are some features of being an engineer.  The two cannot be compared.

  5. nobody better next time you take a flight see how many employees you see then times it by five may give you a rough number on how impotent you are

  6. Both are indispensable in their own ways. You cannot compare the two since both are very diverse fields. However, the international pilots make more money due to outstation allowances etc.

As dedicated people both professions entail high degree of professionalism and perfection in their fields. The fun factor can be generally ruled out in this case.

  7. each have there responsibilities but the pilot has the most
