WHO meditates and where,,,,,,cheers?

  1. I meditate at home, flat on the floor in my bedroom. I make sure I have room to have my arms outstretched and my legs a couple feet apart.

    First I slowly take 10 deep breaths, then I visualize all of the dark negative energy coming out of my body and collecting in a ball a foot above my chest. I visualize that dark negative energy disappearing into itself. Next I visualize a white protective bubble around myself, about 5-6 feet wide on each side.

    Then I begin my short meditation by visualizing a white ball of light coming out of my head and resting an inch or two above the top of my head. It begins to spin forward but it does not move (to me it looks just like a rolling ball in a fountain like in this picture http://www.hilltopproductsllc.com/Image3...

    While still visualizing the white ball above the top of my head I visualize a purple ball of light rising from my third eye and resting and inch or two above my third eye. This follows the same pattern as the first ball of light.

    I continue this with all 7 chakra points. This link (http://www.spiritualismscotland.com/chak... shows the chakras, but in different colors than the ones that I learned. I learned that the crown chakra is white, the third eye chakra is purple, and the throat chakra is blue, but the rest of the colors are the same as the link.

    To end my meditation I envision bright white light from the palms of my hands and the bottom of my feet. After what feels like about a minute I let all of my chakras and the lights in my palms and feet blend into each other to make a river that flows from the top of my head, down the right side of my body, around my feet and back up the left side to the top of my head where it turns to bright specks of light (I always picture fairy dust) that sprinkle down on me. I then take several deep breaths and then count backwards from 10 slowly and I open my eyes at 0.

    There are many great book on meditation, the one that I read was actually about something else and had a big section on meditation. There are as many ways to meditate as there are people. Just type meditation a search ingine and there will be a bunch of pages that can direct you on how to do it.
