Question:

WHY CAN'T/WON'T I LEARN?!?

I went to community college because that was the easiest choice my counselor suggested. I had to pull out at the end of the semester. Both of them. I need to learn how to drive a car, that is so intimidating but I have no choice. That is just a couple big things, there are other, smaller more personal things as well which I failed like that like hobbies. Do I want to learn for the wrong reasons or not want something so much? Don't just tell me to practice or study or I will open my mouth and shriek like a banshee.

  1. No I'm not going to say study, but if you are not doing enough of it yes it could help.. I think your problem is a broad one, but one that I have gone through, my problem is I am scatter brained. I can almost guarantee that you spend to much time stressing all of these things and wanting to better yourself. Give yourself a break, and make decision for now and not the future. the future is stressful.. hope i help man good luck

driving is easy just scary at first

  2. If it is possible for you to entirely switch off from your entire world as you have known it and focus on what you would do if you had a fresh start it might help quite a lot. Switch off from everyone and every thing.

Make your mind a blank canvas and see what the real you actually does want/desire to do.

When you know, go for it & give it all you have got.

In the meantime please google a short piece called Desiderata. I think it might help you just now.   Please feel free to shriek at me if you want to, I have never heard a banshee, whatever that is.

Best wishes for now & your future, UK

  3. in my opinion you should start to learn something REALLY interesting to you, try to concentrate on a single project and gather information, like a thesis. then you could start with other things more "boring" ;)
