Holi is an ancient festival known as the ''festival of colours". It is celebrated on the full moon as it signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, the end of winter and for many others the opporunity to meet, laugh, and forgive. It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.
