Question

Every time someone asks about squirrels as pet, or how to raise them people tell them a big load of bull s@#t( excuse my French). First they tell them that they are not allowed to have them, which is not true. It is strictly a state by state rule and the most you need is a permit that might cost you a little bit, but most states just have housing requirements. Then they tell them to feed that nasty kitten milk c**p, squirrels don't eat meat cats do there for the should not eat that they can not digest it right and i used to listen to that and have lost four squirrels to it. now my last five have been raised on scalded cow milk and yogurt and are health and well tempered and some of the biggest squirrels you ever seen( BIG NOT FAT). PLEASE STOP GIVING PEOPLE FALSE INFORMATION! If you have not done full research don't get peoples hopes up, as long as you don't trap it in a small box they make great pets and love there people!!!

ok when i was upstate i took care of 2 baby squirrels and wat they liked the best was bread soaked in water, unsalted sunflower seeds, dried up fruit, and granola bars

I agree, feeding the wrong food can lead to MBD and a paralyzed squirrel on your hands.  I have one now that was found and I am trying to get him rehabilitated.  There are lots of things that are diet related that will cause this, its basically a calcium deficiency.  It is important to feed the right foods to prevent this!
