WHY DO PEOPLE THINK SKATERS ARE EMOS?

its not true man this pisses me off skaters are way diffrent from goths and emos

it really annoys me as well i know I'm a girl but i have a twin who loves skateboarding etc and has skating shoes etc but all the time i over hear people saying o my twins an emo i hate it.

JUST COS SHE LIKES 2 SKATE DON'T MEAN SHES AN EMO.

my twins so nice so non of her girlie friends and her friends that r boys don't skate and they think shes well funny

I THINK THE REASON IT IS COS THEY WERE BIG BULKY SHOES AND USUALLY R SKINNY ETC BUT SKATERS ANT EMO IF THEY WERE MY TWIN WOULD NOT BE ONE.

my only guess would be because of the music they like to listen to which i guess would make some people think they are emo.

Honestly i dont. People buy into too many stereo types. Like saying "Black people are all criminals" which isnt true..really. Or saying "Cheerleaders are stupid" or "Cheerleading is easy" Because NONE of those are true. Whoever thinks that is just ignorant.
