Because our government wants you to stay married.  If there was no such thing as family, we'd all be running around trying to have s*x with each other, there would be no Daddy's and no one would go to work.

If you can agree on everything, it doesn't. Get a "pro se" packet--a do-it-yourself divorce involving no attornies.

Because lawyers are just plain greedy.  If you divorce, just be nice and fair to one another and don't hire a lawyer, you'll save yourselves a bundle of money and heartahce.  My divorce only costed $400.  Too easy.
