  1. >GOD< didn't give us periods.  It's a part of our physiology, and if you believe that God gave it to us, then I'd have to ask if eve had p[eriods in the garden, or after.  If after, God didnt give it to us.  Beyond that, I doubt that there are as many teen or pre-teen girls in th low age ranges that come on here just to tell the world the yare pegnant.  Did someone not get THE TALK?  Did a school system not have health and s*x ed classes?     I seriously cant believe the percentages of kids that come one  here to anouonce they ae pregnant.

  2. Because a period is the bodies way of cleaning itself out....that doesn't mean your body is ready to have a baby.  You need time for your body to build up a healthy system and a good uterus lining and for your egg follicles to be ready before your body is really ready for pregnancy.

  3. Just because your body is ready to have a baby, doesn't mean that you are ready to have a baby. I think one of the reasons pregnant teens are looked down on is because people think they are throwing their lives away by having a baby so young.

  4. Because other people like taxpayers have to pay for the baby's babies.

  5. But at the same time, God said pre-marital s*x is sinning.

Your body may be ready for a baby, but God gave you a challenge (test) too!

And, you're being a big fat hypocrite: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  6. because having a baby doesn't make you cool .. it doesn't impress everybody .. and yes a period is a step into womanhood .. but don't take advantage of it right away.

  7. I think in most cases it wasn't their actual decision but more like an accident they decided to accept. As for the God thing...he also gave us the gift of a free mind but that doesn't mean that everyone uses it to the best of their capability. Just because the mind can think to murder, rape or abuse doesn't mean its right. Yes the female body can get pregnant as soon as menstruation begins but that doesn't mean it's the best thing to do. Turn on some of those labor and delivery shows on the Discovery channel and pay close attention to the teens delivering babies (if they don't end up having c-sections first). Aside from that, it's hard to have a successful life without getting pregnant at an early age but when you add in the complexity of having a child, it's almost unachievable. You will find a select few that were able to make a comfortable life for themselves and their family after being a teenage mother but I guarantee that percentage is low. There are so many things you can achieve between the ages of 14 and 25 that you can't obtain as quickly if you are raising a child.

So if this "pregnant girl" doesn't mind struggling for quite possibly the rest of her life and promises not to utilize the welfare system for more than a few years while she is bettering herself...I say go ahead; but if she is just going to be on welfare forever and work at dead-end jobs, as a tax payer I am irritated.

I refuse to go into the complete aspect of whether or not a teen is able or capable of raising a well-rounded child and just say it's not likely.

This is where I see that new reality show "The Baby Borrowers" to be a blessing and they should be doing it in every city and town in America just to allow teens to test themselves.

  8. I ask myself the same thing. I have been pregnant before but I unfortunately had a miscarriage and I am a teenager so I am wondering the same thing.
