  1. Because it confuses the dim ones...

Spanish was the first language of the west and he is part Hispanic.

Why do you fear multi-lingual politicians?

  2. because it's a free country with no national language

  3. Mr Richardson Suggests that while we all know English, it will be a cultural enrichment to be bi-lingual or multi-lingual.  It will enhance everyone to grow intellectually.

Immigrants arrive every day knowing the language of their native land.  They learn English to assimilate in their new country. They are now bi-lingual.  We seem to revel in our mental limitation to only know English.

Knowing or learning another language enables awareness of diverse cultures.  A global economy requires self enrichment to understand domestic and international events.

    Como esta usted?

Yo estudio espanol en la escuela publica. Yo hablo un poco y escucho mas.

    Buena suerte.

This is recognition of Spanish speaking constituents.  Identification inspires political loyalty.  Good public relations and smart strategy.

  4. Because hes Hispanic. Hes probably doing some pandering but still, he is Hispanic.

  5. To be inclusive, dear. Like it or not, there are citizens of this country who do not speak English well. Citizens--as in, "voters."

Again, like it or not, some people believe it is wise to act on reality, not idealism.

  6. It is the new national language of America...Spanglish

  7. Pandering for the hispanic vote

same reason Obama spoke in spanish

Unlike Obama at least Richardson used the correct spanish words.

  8. Get over it.  There are people who are not very fluent in English yet are still your fellow Americans, whether your bigoted *** likes it or not.

  9. por que pueder

  10. Do you realize that the U.S. is becoming more and more spanish every day?  Things change, my friend.  Get used to the espanol.

  11. Pandering to the hispanic vote.  Some of them would like to have Spanish as a second national language like French is in Canada.
