gas is a finite resource, so its only a small amount of time till we run out. Then we'll all be f*cked

So the oil complanys cant get as much oil so they have to charge us more, plus it makes us be more careful about how much gass we use.

I am not sure of all the factors making gas high but one is BECAUSE WE KEEP BUYING IT!!! Just think what would be saved if we only used gas for necessites and not recreation- boats, rvs, jet skis etc I feel for you, but have NO SYMPATHY for all those self centered soccer moms in their SUVS

The gas prices are high because the oil companies can make it that way. It's their way of making money. And since The USA is running out oil from all the people over using it, it's going to keep going up and up and will never go back down. Ok, it seem to me like everyone was asleep until gas hit $4.00 a gal (in most of the country)! I for one have been watching to steady climb. If you are so angry about gas prices, then do something about it! One person may not be able to get things done, but we as a country can! What happens when gas hits five+ dollars a gal?
