  1. Its normal that you Blackamoor fish is not eating.. Make sure he has enough tank space to swim in, also see when you change the fishfood if he gets more active or less active. If its a new blackamoor in your tank/bowl it may be investigateing its new tank. If he does not eat in 3-5 days you should try getting him a bigger tank or try changeing his food again. Good luck!

  2. Maybe hes not hungry? Ever consider HIS feelings???

  3. Black moor fish are notorious for bad eyesight.

Which is why a lot of the time, they will starve to death if kept with other fish.

I watched mine and always wondered why he didn't eat much.

But I noticed that he couldn't see where the food was, so he was swimming blindly around, trying to find it.

Try feeding him by hand to make sure he gets enough to eat.

  4. coldwater fish can go off food.dont try forcing it by placing food in every day.it wont come to any harm,if it goes without food for a few days.try live daphnia, once a week.be sure to clean up any uneaten food, after a couple of minutes.carry out weekly water changes of 10 percent, include cleaning the substrate[gravel] at these times.good luck.

  5. what size tank?

how long have you had it? how long have you had the tank?

when you say you cleaned it out, do you mean completely cleaning the tank?
