  1. Snooker is a variation on American "pool".

Cheerleading does not have a competitive element to it, in that it's not scored, so despite how physical it might be, it won't be in the sports section.

  2. Pool and snooker are tools for guys to get away from the reality in life that they were good in geometry and sucked at all the real sports that they watch while they play it.  Cheer leading is a real sport along with dance and that stuff because it requires coordination, training, and talent.  Anyone can hit a ball with a stick into a hole 3 feet away, and no that does not mean golf isn't a real sport.  Plus cheerleader usually are less weird then snookerers.

  3. What is considered a "sport" and/or a "game" is personal opinion. I have the same thoughts about "tractor-pull". Put snooker and pool in the category you wish, but cheer-leading is neither a sport nor a game. It's an "activity." True, an activity which involves physical exertion and skill. But seldom in a competition.

Pocket billiards can be termed a sport when a tournament is a "team" event, and a game when it's "one on one." It may not be physical as cheerleading (you're right about being in great shape), but talent and mentally, pool is way ahead.

You learn two, three or four routines where everything is repetition. Pool players are faced with a myriad of choices in run-out patterns, angles when banking, cue ball control for the following shot, kick-shot angle, and about a dozen other things to consider (one of which is how the table plays, etc.).

Cheerleaders have only one thing over pool and billiard players. 17-year-old cheerleaders can learn to play pool. 50-year-old pool players would never take up cheering. You couldn't get me at the top of that pyramid. LOL.

    Have a great day.

  4. Same here then, what the h**l is Cheerleading, talentless girls with short skirts shouting and screaming and waving their arms about during a "sporting" event.

Snooker takes skills that you wouldn't understand so I won't waste my breath (or fingers) explaining.

ps. When did a cheerleader become a millionaire eh?

  5. It is a brain thing blondie -And like the other man said what dip would think cheerleading is a sport

Does anyone even notice them except in beer commercials look in advertising maybe they are in there

Lucky I quit drinking-So no baton and pom pom jokes nascar has cheerleaders?

  6. "what the frick is snooker anyway? "

You expect people to take cheer leading question seriously after such ignorant questions above?

Snooker is a game of skill and great concentration. It is a big enough sport to even have suffered its own fair share of drug cheats in the sport. And it carries a lot money in competitions WORLD WIDE.

How much "competition" WORLD WIDE is cheer leading?

  7. do not judge till you have walked a mile in my shoes.. how can u be as preposterous as to insult pool and billiards when you don't even understand them.  seriously how would you feel if someone called you untalented and idiotic.  wait you didn't like it.  So instead of blasting us try to learn the game.  I guarantee if u play reg and enter some tournaments you will get to understand how much of a sport it is.

side note how often is the biggest and strongest the best in any sport. Last i checked it was about a combination of mental and physical skills that made for a great player in anything.
