  1. Don't you pay attention? Didn't you see the protests all over the country on the invasion anniversary?

  2. That would just cause problems. It's too late in the war to just decide to stop it. I might be wrong though.

  3. Most Americans are pretty apathetic. Half of them don't even vote. You can protest war if you like but Obama has already said he will pull the troops at first opportunity. Just vote for him. Don't expect your country to change much overall though. You'll still have the pro war culture you did in 2003. That is, until there is a real anti war movement.

  4. THERE IS!!!

tons of people here are sick with the war and all that Bush stands for...

  5. Bleeding heart liberal.

  6. I think that would be a really sh*t idea. Why start an anti-war movement 5 or 6 years into the war why not before we actually you know had some type of effect on the people there. Personally I'm against the war, but if you in anyway wanted to help the people in the middle east you'd shut up  and try to help out. Yes, we probably shouldn't have been their in the first place but you have to understand it's to late for whining about it now. If we leave now we leave them with a half as*ed government, a ruined economy, and a false sense of hope. It's to late to leave we have to fix what we've done because we ruined everything they knew, and if we just leave those people with nothing that will be so unbelievably pathetic of us. We can't leave until we at least put them on their feet again.

  7. I'm not some 60's hippie.

  8. im sorry... its just hopeless...no1 ever listens to me...why would they now

  9. I ask that question all day long. I, at first, thought that we were all too complacent. Now, I'm convinced we are all too medicated. Our government won't be happy until we are all on Prozac or Zoloft

  10. "You people". What is wrong with YOU? Look in the mirror before you start poking at others. If you see that there is a need for something, fill it. So start your own grassroors effort. Be positive and pro-active rather than pointing fingers at the rest of the world. Because, news flash, you are one of "us people".

  11. i am sick!!!!!!!!!

  12. In the city I live in we hold protest rallies against the Iraq war once a month downtown and have done so since the beginning of the war.

  13. WHY DO U HAVE TO TALK IN ALL CAPS?

  14. The war will continue even with a protest. >_>

O.I.L. continue till there is no more

  15. people are too scared of their gov.

its just like what V from V for Vendetta said:

"People should not be afraid of the governments. Government should b e afraid of their people."

  16. While I do agree with you I am not sure where to go from here. IMO I see this as a close friend of the vietnam war. Back then there were so many ideals and the people where very passionate about many issues. I think that our culture has changed so much and in a sense we have been desensitized to all the horrible acts going on in this world. We are not outraged anymore becasue we are so used to it. Sad Huh?

  17. Because we all don't wanna back down... we can't.... if we do it says we are quitters (though from what i hear from the democrates side they both want out?) I think it's because alot of people won't speak there mind. HMMM as for what's wrong... everyone has there problems including you lol... now quit yellin.

  18. what a brilliant question and I see they are all too scared to answer. Maybe they're too scared to start a real anti war movement too.
