The night that Madeleine McCann was abducted was not the first time that her parents had left her alone while on holiday ok NOW IS IT OK FOR SOME 1 TOO DO THIS ?????????

And in some cultures its OK to put your female children up for adoption immediately just because they wont carry on the family name. Is that OK?

She was left alone because her parents were and are irrisponsible idiots. On top of which when this so called mother 'allegedly' found Maddi missing, she then left her twins alone, leaving the apartment again to 'allegedly' search the streets. Now seriously IF for a single second i thought one of my children had been abducted i would be terrified to leave my two other babies alone even for a second in case the abductor was coming back for them too. I'm a Mother, that's how i'd think and i never ever left any of my babies unattended.

What a stupid question - well I think your answer must be that no its not right for them to have left their children, but then we ALL have made a mistake in our life at some point, DONT YOU AGREE? or are you perfect?

Sadly they have to live with the consequences of their mistake every day and could well do without constant criticism from people who forget that they too havent got everything right in their own lives!!!

We all do things we are ashamed of.  When my daughter was 2 I left her alone in a hotel room and went to the bar. I was 22 years old and on holiday with a friend.  The same could have happened to me. : (((((((

I know.  I think about that too when I hear the story.  You want feel bad for the parents but what they did was wrong.  How could you feel sorry for them for doing something so stupid? I wouldn't leave a three year old alone for lots of reasons.  Maybe that is how they do things in their country but most people would never do that in the states.  The mom is just lucky that her twins weren't abducted too.  I guess they learn their lesson the hard way.  I could never live with myself if my child was abducted because of my carelessness.
