SO I HAD 3 12"S IN MY LITTLE CAR AND I GOT ME A NEW TRUCK. I INSTALLED ONLY 2 OF THE SPEAKERS IN THE TRUCK AND A NEW CD PLAYER TOO AND THE SPEAKERS ARENT WORKING. THEY WERE JUST FINE WHEN I TOOK THEM OUT OF MY CAR. THERE IS POWER TO THE AMP SINCE THE LITTLE GREEN LIGHT IS ON AND THE REMOTE CABLE THINGY IS HOOKED UP TOO. IS IT MAYBE A FUSE BLOWN OR SOMETHING???

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT

THANKS,

JOHN

  1. It's not a power problem.  New Stereo, check to make sure that the sub output of the stereo is turned on.  Most stereo's don't have the sub output already turned on.

  2. i'ed say check all the wireing again to make sure every thing its pulged in and were it should be. i had this problem to were my subs worked but weren't thumping sounded like stock bass and i found out i needed a new deck

  3. Usually, the light should be red if the amp is powered on.. Check the fuse on the amp and make sure the speakers are hooked up right.

  4. ....It is not a blown fuse, or you would not get a power light. Go ahead and check all of the fuses on the amp..

This may sound lame, but be sure you hooked up the rca's too! ;)

Let's see, power light but no sound...? Did you wire the rca's to the sub output on the new cd player... is the sub output turned all the way down?

Is it a two channel amp.. did you bridge it.... did you wire it to the wrong positive and negative for bridge mode?

Does the green light represent power or protect?

  5. Check the Remote wire to the amp when the stereo is on you should have twelve volts going to it. If remote wires chekcs out good, check the grounding of the amp-that's on a tight paint free metal surface that's grounded to the frame. Also check your fuse on your power line going to the amp (if it doesn't look blown and you just want to make sure bring it to any hardware store and they can check the continuity of the fuse-but normally you can see that it is blown).

    Hope it helps!! Good Luck!
