  1. sorry but I can't think of one reason or fact that would make him a good president

  2. There are no solid facts to answer that question. The real story is that Obama's proposals on the economy and social issues are more likely to send us further into a recession while emboldening our enemies. You will hear him talk of tax rebates at the expense of big oil and tax cuts for the middle class at the expense of the rich. This has been tried by socialist nations many times and has proven to be a failing policy. If you tax the rich and big corporations people lose jobs. That's a fact. Grocery stores and other employers of minimal paying jobs have to either cut jobs or raise prices when taxes go up.

Obama is an appeaser and has not shown the ability to make the tough decisions. His voting record is anemic to say the least. They are already planning the Fairness Doctrine and other ways to control not only the media but certain aspects of the internet as well.

Please before you assume McCain is another Bush do some independent research and don't be fleeced by the media.

Look up the constitution and you will find some answers about the role of government...then compare to Obama's ideas.

The real scary part is if you look at the Socialist  Party USA, you will see what Obama is really about.

  3. The one sentence answer to your question is that he would likely make a good president because he is all the things George W Bush is not.  W may not be a "bad" man, but he has clearly led the USA in the opposite direction to where we THOUGHT we were going (forwards?), so maybe someone completely unlike him will take us in a better direction? It's worth a try!

  4. Why ask a question like this? Just vote for who you feel can help this country get back on track. I'm voting for Obama because I feel he actually cares about the trying to better the economy and cares about the regular folks. I'm tired of seeing foreclosures and folks loosing jobs. Aren't you?

  5. There aren't any.

  6. There's nothing particular that makes one ready for the Presidency. Obama is mobilizing people to be more involved in politics so the government will be held more accountable to the people.

  7. It's not so much that, WE JUST DONT WANT 4 MORE YEARS LIKE THE LAST 8!!!

  8. The middle class is struggling in this county.  We measure the success of the country based on the middle class because we accept wealth and poverty as facts of life.

Obama has stated that his policies will benefit the middle class.  He is young and has championed the causes of middle class and poor people.  His civic service does not pale in the face of all McCains flag waving I served in the military rhetoric.  So what.  My father served too.

It got him nothing.  He came back from Japan and faced the same discrimination that he faced before he left risking his life for democracy that he couldn't enjoy.

McCain is 74. He is so close to Bush and his policies we should call him McMimic.  He is so damned wealthy he clueless about what income makes one middle class.  I'd love the five million a year he thinks qualifies.  He is a warmonger.

His running mate is all the things he accused Obama of being:  young, inexperienced, unknown on the national scene.  Now the rumors that Michelle was anti-American based on someone's interpretation of obscure comments PALES in comparison of the rumors that Phalin's husband is a seperatist, to say the least.  Yes, if you lay down next to a man you will share his values.

The list can go on and on.
