Why were they released? To be honest, I am kind of glad colin is gone I got sick of him! I like the High Landers thought and Cherry aswell!

The Higlanders sort of got old, and they really had nothing to do.  Seriously, name the last three matches you've seen them in.  Now name the last three in which you saw them win...

Stevie is probably to further destroy the old ECW legacy

Cherry was hot, but not much of a "wrestler"

Delaney just had to go.  Why did he even come into the WWE anyway?

I think it's like any company Vince wants to continually evolve and develop the brands and keep things fresh and interesting.With increased competition from TNA and ROH, he can't afford to let WWE stand still and become complacent.Hence the releases yesterday, which shows that Vince wants to keep his Stars on their toes and that nobody is indipensable.

Stevie Richards and Cherry were never properly used or given the chance to show what they were capable of.Robbie Highlander was on borrowed time after the TNA Impact fiasco.While Colin Delaney couldn't step up to the next level after wrestling in NWA Upstate.

But it now means that Vince can call up some of the young talent in FCW and spice things up.Colt Cabana was on SD last night working as Scotty Goldman and looks to have made it.While Hade Vansen, Heath Miller and Jake Hager would be the pick of the FCW roster.The Bella Twins ~ Bri and Nicole ~ and Angela Fong already look to be the next generation WWE Divas.
