WHY are the links not working?

Not in the "add details" section, and you can't add URLs into the sources either, what's up!?

Yahoo! Answers link update

As you may have already discovered, the url links posted on Answers are currently not clickable. We are working to fix the problem and we don’t yet have an estimate on when it will be done. Sorry for the inconvenience - we will keep you posted.

I concur with Barckley Hound--apparently Y! Answers Team had the inline-URL module crash.  I entered URL's into recent Answers myself, and (even though I checked the URLs to verify their intended HTTP targets as functional) the links in said Answers are dead as of 17:40, 8 February 2008 (UTC).  Or, as Y! Mail states when a server crashes:

"Can't talk.  System's down."
