OK, so, supposedly he fell and need 50 stitches or something. WHY cancel the fight with Mosley and make another one with Clottey? What's the REAL deal here? Makes me think they don't REALLY want any part of Mosley.

  1. I cant see Judah beating Clottey. Clottey is bigger and fights off his defense like Winky. Clottey is a south paw worst nightmare. Judah dont like body punches, dont like to fight on the inside and has a glassssss chin. Dont get me wrong, Judah is not to be tooking lightly but he would have to do a 360 degree change to pull this off. Clottey win, will he get the winner out of Cotto and Margarito? Clottey gets the belt, than turn around and give it up to fight Cotto. Margo had to give the belt up to fight Cotto. Judah win, will he fight Cotto again or fight Margo? From my understanding, Arum put no rematch in the contract, for Cotto and Margo. I think Clottey was promise the winner out of Cotto vs Margo by Arum.

  2. Zab Judah never fell in the shower.  He got into an argument with his father/trainer Yoel Judah and then threw a temper tantrum.  As a result, he punched the glass shower door and his arm got cut really badly.  I know the cut is real because I've seen the picture, but I also know that the "slipped in the shower" excuse is NOT real.

The reason why he is fighting Joshua Clottey for the vacant IBF belt is because he is the highest ranked available contender in the IBF's rankings.  Clottey is number 1, number 2 is Andre Berto, and number 3 is Judah.  Since Berto is fighting for the vacant WBC title against Miguel Rodriguez, then the next ranked contender fights for the title, and the next ranked contender is Judah.

So, in short, the injury was real, but the excuse was fake and he's fighting Clottey because he is next in line in the pathetic IBF's rankings.  And since Zab is running out of chances, he took the opportunity to win a vacant world title since his arm will be healed by that time.  I still think that he'll lose to Clottey, but its an opportunity that he had to take.

  3. It was simply an opportunity to fight for a title. A fight with Mosley would have just moved Judah a step closer to a titleshot. Why wait, when he can skip that step and go for the vacant title now, against Clottey. It's possible that Judah is thinking that Clottey is an easier fight than Mosley, which would also add-on to why not go ahead fight Clottey. Not only would Judah get what seems to him as maybe an easier opponent, but he'll get a title as well, if he wins.

  4. because he is the best fighter ever he do what he want NO DUUUUHHHHHHHHH

  5. There are two reasons why he probably wants to fight Clottey instead of Mosley. One, he thinks its an easy shot at another title. Two, he probably thinks Clottey would be an easier opponent to beat than Mosley, and in other words, yeah, he doesn't want any part of Mosley. However, Clottey will be no easier for him to beat than Mosley. Clottey is an EXCELLENT boxer. He is a great defensive boxer who keeps his guard up and counters you with clean, hard shots to the body and head when you try to penetrate his impenetrable defensive stance. Not to mention his amazing speed and extremely long arms. He would have lost to Mosley if they fought, but he will also lose against Clottey when they fight.
