WHY is there secrets if there are UFOS or not???

why are we waitin for the govt to tell US? Cant we do our own research and tell the people of the world if they do exist?

It's NOT a secret.  There is no single, verifiable, scientifically proven evidence of the existence of UFOs.

Now if you choose to believe in something that has no proof, that is your choice, but to assume there is a secret, and that people are hiding things, is not supported.

This is similar to me saying "why are there secrets about the existence of angels?"  There is no proof that angels exist, yet lots of people seem to believe in them.  Why?  Maybe because people need some sort of magical presence in their lives, maybe because they have been brainwashed by frauds, maybe just because they have never learned to apply critical thinking and the scientific method.  But it's not a secret, it's not a conspiracy, it's just because the evidence isn't there.

Its quite simple in that flying spacecraft originating from extraterrestrial sources do not exist. The only reason there is any secrecy is the government does not want to confirm to the world and our enemies if a top secret military aircraft is seen or crashes. It may also be true that they do not want to admit if a foreign government's spy plane comes down on US soil.

Why is it the U. S. government that is hiding UFO evidence? Why not China? Why not Canada? Why not Syria? Why not one of many nations. The fact is few nations build large and sophisticated aircraft in a secret way. The US is at the top.

Recently eyewitnesses saw a space craft flying low over Texas. Some said it was miles wide with moving and blinking lights. At first the government said nothing was there of theirs and then upon checking they reported that up to 16 F16 fighters were doing maneuvers out there that night. BIG DEAL!

Besides, who said it was secret. Go to Roswell and it is all over town that the aliens land there! Yep, they did!

Consider the fact that there would be secrets whether or not UFO's existed, because there are always secrets.

All "UFO" means is "I saw something in the sky, and I don't know what it was."

Most "UFO"s have obvious explanations - I myself have seen "UFO"s that turned out to be birds, balloons, airplanes, even clouds, and other normal everyday stuff.  

Some UFO's are intentionally secret, because what the person who saw the "UFO" actually saw was an experimental or secret aircraft, like the SR-71 or the F117A or the B2, all airplanes which were once "top secret," didn't look like normal airplanes, and were all tested and flown at "area 51."

If aliens WERE showing up here, they would either be revealing themselves openly, or acting in TOTAL secrecy - theyd have the technology to do that.   They would NOT be constantly being spotted by kids with poor-quality videocameras, or picking up backwoods yokels to probe their butts.

That's just stupid.

If something did not happen, (UFO crash/dead Aliens) it will always be a secret. Doesn't that tell you something?, UFO's (of the alien kind) simply do not exist and never have.

If you are asking about item classifies as secret or top secret it is because they are usually of military importance that would harm us if our enimies where to get it.  Trust me when I say that we have many things that are secret, but none of them have anything to do with UFO's.  You can also rest asured that everything that is "classified" is reviewed on a regular schedule and is downgraded if no longer required to be classified!

What do you mean "why are there secrets"?  That is a loaded question.  If people deny the existence of UFO's, they are liars and conspirators.  And if they "admit" to it, then you believe them.  Either way, you have presupposed the existence of UFOs and conspiracies about them.  In truth, there isnt anything any one can say that wont feed and validate your presumption.

What do you expect the governments to do?  Lie and say UFO's do exist?  You dont really want truth, do you?

Technically, a UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object.  That is everything from a bird to a balloon to a plane.  If you dont know what it is, and it flies, then it is a UFO.  Its only a UFO until the mystery of what it is is solved.  It has nothing to do with aliens from outer space.

I believe aliens exist in this infinitely large universe... but I certainly dont believe they would traverse the universe to arrive at our small planet just to hide from us.

Im willing to believe in the most remote possibility that UFOs have arrived and that our governments are lying about it.  But if its denied, what do you suggest anyone do about it?  If they deny it, why not simply believe them?  Its pretty outrageous to begin with and has no substantial evidence.

Is it not ironic that most alien-believers are also atheists?  Kind of hypocritical to believe in something unverified, unsubstantiated and completely outrageous, while criticizing Christians for their faith. (I say most alien-believers are atheist simply because Christians have their dogma that sort of denies other sentient life in our universe, but scientists firmly believe in the possibility... while UFO conspiracy theorists are just radicals of their own)

You are correct. Non-governmental action would be expedient.

In fact, it has already been done. Many different groups have studied UFOs but their results were not what the public wanted to hear. The truth is that there are no space aliens on Earth. No visitors from other planets wandering around, abducting people or performing s*x experiments on them.

There are, however real UFOs. They remain unidentified.

Reasons:

Reason 1.  If there are UFO, the if you possess a flying saucer, or fragments of a flying saucer, you have a technological advantage over other countries.

It may be possible that an US agency has these objects and they do not know how to operate them. Example take a smart person from the XVII century, like Huygens and show him a micro-wave oven and tell him: " This cooks food very quickly". He has no idea how the oven works.

Of course, the US agency cannot tell the world about these objects , because people would say: show us the objects, and by doing so, an other country may understand the technologies and take advantage.

Reason 2.  the news of the existence without any doubt of UFO may create social, religious and political disruptions. I think this is very possible.

Can you imagine what the people of the world would do if the governments of this world actually told the truth?  Cover-ups have been proven, but not the existence of aliens visiting Earth. We won't know of their existence until we're ready to face the truth. Maybe the real question should be: "When will humanity grow up?"

when they wanted to cover up their flight testing of secret planes, they hinted that they might be UFOs.

if you were to take the space shuttle to the nearest star, it would take you 175,000 years to get there.
