WHY would anyone want to wear crocs?!?!?!?

Now why would anyone want to wear crocs? They are not comfortable they have even have call backs on them for kids chocking on then and some people have even gotten their toe nails ripped off when they were wearing them.

Well I thought the same thing. I met up with someone who I hadn't seen for ages today. She was wearing a pair of crocs. I was surprised as she has a pretty good fashion sense.

I asked her "What are crocs like to wear?"

She said "Well they're really comfortable, they aren't much to look at but they have a grip inside. At first I didn't think that I would be able to wear them as I have one foot slightly larger than the other. I thought that I would walk out of them. But with the grip inside of them it makes them comfortable to walk in."

That remains the most complete description of wearing crocs I've got from anyone. Someone recommended that another friend and I get a pair because they were so comfortable. We both said "No thanks". Both of us thought that they weren't very smart.

I won't be buying a pair in spite of the favourable reaction from some quarters. I think it is healthier to wear open - toed sandals.

They are HIDEOUS!

Dont get me wrong, they are comfy, but that doesnt make up for the fact that they are so ugly! if you have to wear them, wear them where no one else can see you. I also heard that certain types you can cook in hot water, and eat the shoe...EWWW

I wore crocs while I was away to avoid getting sick from the coral, I felt ridiculous. Seriously, I wouldn't recommend them to anybody, they are definately not used for the style factor. Comfy? Not really.

I hate those shoes more than anything! they're revolting and way over priced for a piece of shite made out of old car tires.

they may not be so fashionable but they are lightweight,great to wear around the pool, nice to wear around the house or backyard as a replacements for sandals,and most of all they're COMFORTABLE!!!!

My sister loves the bright orange crocs she got for my 2 year-old niece. She says it's light, comfortable, easy to keep clean and great for all weather. My niece seems to like them alot too.

Personally I think crocs should only be worn aby anyone under 5 or over 70.

I REALLY have no clue.

It ruins people's outfits all at once. It's like oooh that's a really cute outfit! And then you start looking down at they're feet and it's like WTF, did I just say that that was cute?

It kills me to see so many Japanese people wearing them too (I go there a lot- plus there are lots of tourists where I live), and I was about to have a heart attack when I found out that they were making the "Jibbitz"- AHHHHH it adds even more ugliness to the crocs.

So many people say that they're comfortable, so I tried them on at Macy's once, and they just feel plain gross, they're hard to walk in, and they have weird bumps and lumps on the inner soles.

I personally hate them with a passion, and it turns out that they aren't really good for your feet either, so I don't get the point.

Also, Skechers make croc knocks and they call it "Cali Gear" (or something like that).

they may be ugly but they're comfortable and suitable for the beach although i prefer flip flops
