Who is Hoyce gracie?? Royce however is still teaching and has a sprt of European tour planned this summer to give seminars throughout Europe and i belive some in Brazil.  Still competes rarely

He came out of retirement and loss to Matt Hughes by tko in 2006 and went back into retirement

as far as i know he hasnt officially retired but im sure his positive test for steroids following his last fight is causing him to lay low for a while.

it cant be good for business, for royce, his brothers or his cousins as they have made a fortune defeating bigger stronger men with pure technique and bravery.

i dont think all the gracies are cheaters, just royce, and people will soon forget as he is far from the only professional athlete to get caught using steroids.

i think the beating matt hughes laid on royce chagned the way he looked at the sport forever.

Royce Grace is comfortably retired, having built up his family's martial art, and I think he lives in Tarzana, CA.  He has a place forever in the heart of fans and really proved BJJ to be a legit sport art in the anarchistic sport of "Ultimate Fighting".

Royce Gracie is a UFC Hall of Fame person and really set the standard for the ground game, in his time fighting.

HIs last fight was in 2007 with K1 where he went against Kazushi Sakuraba which he won by Unanimous decision, then he tested positive for anabolic steroids after the fight and was suspended since then, but I think his suspension is over now...

Hats off to royce gracie and his family if it wasnt for them mma would not be were it is. they were the building blocks to this sport no matter how dirty people said they fought.

Royce Gracie to the best of my knowledge doesn't fight anymore. However he still has a profile on UFC.com.
